Spring Week 2025

🎉 Hello, everyone!

This year, our school was thrilled to take part in the Spring Week 2025 immersive language program organized by the Xunta de Galicia. For five unforgettable days, we lived and learned in English—right in the heart of Os Peares, Ourense.

  • 175 students from 10 Galician schools joined in the fun.

  • Out of those, 25 lucky students from CEIP ADR Castelao were selected.

  • Together, we enjoyed activities, games, excursions, and plenty of opportunities to chat and practice English in real life.

It was an amazing experience that showed us just how motivating and effective learning can be outside the classroom. We all left with new friends, fresh confidence in our language skills, and memories we’ll cherish.

We’re already looking forward to next year—when we hope to bring our 6th-grade students along for another week of discovery and language immersion!

BLOX FRUITS AND SAINT PATRICK´S DAY.

SAINT PATRICK´S BLOX FRUIT

We also have to mention the fact that Nicolas Cedeira from 6th grade B also did a blox fruit character themed for Saint Patrick´s Day! It is really an awesome work. Keep it up with this.
Boys and girls Blox fruits collection are increasing!

SAINT PATRICK´S DAY AT SCHOOL

Good Luck!

We have been working on this emblematic festivity from Ireland with our language assistant about its origen, features and celebration.

Sixth grade students worked in small groups, and they had to prepare some wreaths to decorate the school corridors with the symbols of Saint Patrick's festivity. The results were really impressive.

Then, they also had to illustrate a typical shamrock leaf with a sentence that summarizes the idea of why they felt lucky. This work was done by students of 5th and 6th grade.

We can also appreciate some projects such as drawings and hair bands from other groups.

POP ART PROJECTS

Better late than never

We are working in Pop Art style and here there is a sample of the projects created by our students. They have done a really nice job!
