How to make Affirmative Sentences
Los verbos regulares forman el pasado añadiendo -ed al final del verbo base.
Examples:
play → played
visit → visited
like → liked
Spelling Rules:
Si el verbo termina en e, solo añadimos -d.
Example: like → liked
Si el verbo termina en una consonante + y, cambiamos la y por i y añadimos -ed.
Example: study → studied
Para la mayoría de los verbos, solo añadimos -ed.
Example: listen → listened
How to make Negative and Interrogative Sentences
Negative Sentences:
Usamos el auxiliar did not (didn’t) seguido del verbo base (sin -ed).Example:
Affirmative: She played soccer.
Negative: She did not play soccer.
Interrogative Sentences:
Usamos el auxiliar did al principio de la oración, seguido del sujeto y el verbo base (sin -ed).Example:
Affirmative: She played soccer.
Interrogative: Did she play soccer?
